Your New Role: What's Involved?
Studio Aurora, based in the vibrant heart of Dubai, is a leading boutique lighting design consultancy. Committed to crafting unique narratives through illumination, Studio Aurora is dedicated to shaping unforgettable experiences for clients around the world.
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and imaginative Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team.
As a Business Development Representative at Studio Aurora, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our studio. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
Your strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and proactive approach will be essential in expanding our market presence and maximizing revenue generation.
You are expected to take the initiative and identify additional steps required to undertake the role. You will be the initial point of contact for the studio, consistently representing it in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive opportunities.
- Analyze industry developments and opportunities for business expansion.
- Gather insights to refine our sales strategies and target specific market segments effectively.
2. Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers, and industry influencers.
- Understand clients' needs, challenges, and goals to tailor solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Understand the studios’ USP, aims, objectives, and aspirations and align with client’s business objectives.
- Engage in regular communication to nurture leads through the pipeline and overcome objections.
3. Partnership Development
- Identify potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand our reach and offerings.
- Initiate discussions and negotiate partnership terms to create mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage ongoing partnerships, ensuring fulfilment of commitments and fostering long-term relationships.
4. Lead Generation
- Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and social media platforms to generate leads.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize them for further engagement.
- Establish a primary contact for clients and actively seek new clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and LinkedIn.
- Identify and participate in networking events, especially those frequented by designers and architects. These events are likely to take place in the evenings or outside of regular hours.
5. Business Generation
- Collaborate with the management to provide them with qualified leads, market insights, and support materials.
- Assist in developing marketing materials: portfolio, press releases, presentations, social media content and proposals tailored to specific client needs.
- Provide feedback and insights from the field to refine business strategies and improve conversion rates.
6. Performance Tracking
- Generate reports and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize business development processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
We'd love to hear from you if you have skills in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the Architecture/Interior Design/Lighting Design.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal/social skills.
- Highly Motivated, Confident and Proactive.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and project management.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets and objectives.
- A strategic thinker who can grasp the larger context, adjusting to the needs, preferences, and levels of clients independently.
- Have the ability to travel independently as and when required.
- UAE Driving License is a must.
