- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or issues.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and resource plans.
- Monitor hours and project milestones to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Allocate resources efficiently and adjust project schedules as needed.
2. Document Control Responsibilities
- Develop and implement document control processes to ensure all project-related documents are accurately tracked, filed, and archived.
- Ensure that all documents and records comply with company standards, client requirements, and legal regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date records for all design modifications and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support design and project teams by ensuring smooth access to the latest versions of project documentation.
- Manage the distribution of project documents, ensuring stakeholders receive the correct and updated files in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute regular project progress reports to internal teams and clients, including any document-based updates.
3. Construction Administration
- Track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; conduct site inspections.
- Track changes and manage project documentation throughout construction.
4. Quality Control & Communication
- Ensure clear documentation, accurate specifications, and timely communication between all project stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership in project meetings and represent the studio professionally with clients and external teams.
- Mentor junior staff and support knowledge-sharing on electrical systems and project delivery.
- Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
5. Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with lighting designers to integrate electrical and control systems into design concepts.
- Provide engineering input on fixture loads, circuiting, emergency lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Review and produce technical documentation including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and wiring schematics.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- Effective time, space and task management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documents and deliverables.
