Your New Role: What's Involved?

Studio Aurora, based in the vibrant heart of Dubai, is a leading boutique lighting design consultancy. Committed to crafting unique narratives through illumination, Studio Aurora is dedicated to shaping unforgettable experiences for clients around the world.

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and imaginative Visualizer to join our dynamic team.

As a Visualizer at Studio Aurora, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of creative lighting solutions for diverse projects globally.

You will be responsible for translating lighting designs into photorealistic renderings, simulations, and visual presentations.

Working closely with the design team, you will create visuals that communicate lighting intent, mood, and spatial atmosphere across various project types and design stages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Visual Development

• Create high-quality 3D renderings, illustrations, and animations to convey lighting concepts and atmospheres.
• Develop visual content for presentations, proposals, and marketing.
• Assist with the creation of diagrams, mood boards, and lighting narratives.

2. Modelling & Rendering

• Build 3D models and lighting scenarios based on architectural drawings, sketches, or CAD files.
• Apply lighting schemes, textures, materials, and post-production techniques for realism and mood.
• Use both real-time and traditional rendering techniques to match project needs.

3. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with lighting designers to ensure visuals reflect accurate design intent.
• Incorporate feedback and iterate visualizations based on design revisions.
• Maintain organized file structures and documentation for rendering assets.

We'd love to hear from you if you have skills in:

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, 3D Visualization, Digital Arts, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in 3D visualization, ideally within architecture, lighting, or design industries.
• Genuine enthusiasm for lighting design and a strong desire to grow in the field.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling: SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar, Rendering engines: V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion and Post-production: Photoshop, After Effects (for video), Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of lighting behaviour, materials, shadows, and spatial composition.
• Ability to interpret lighting design intent and translate it into compelling visuals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients.
